Book With Confidence
updated 8th July
We’re open !!!
Great news with the recent government announcement on 8th July, allowing fully vaccinated adults and accompanying children under 18 to travel to amber destinations without the need to isolate on their return to England. We are delighted to be able to welcome UK guests once again free from many social restrictions.
- Essentially, the protocols for fully vaccinated adults and any children under 18 travelling to Green and Amber countries is now the same.
- The FDCO has now also dropped advice against all non-essential travel to Greece and travel insurance is valid. FCDO Travel Advice
If there are travel restrictions in place and we cannot operate your holiday on the date of your departure or you need to quarantine on return to the UK we will be in contact to talk through your options – you will be able to amend your holiday to alternative dates free of charge for later in the year or even 2022 (you would need to pay the difference if there was an increase in the holiday price).
To help families travelling this summer Trek will pay for a “Test to Release (DAY 5)” PCR test for each child aged 18 years + who is travelling with their vaccinated parents and unable to be vaccinated prior to departure. This will limit quarantine on return to the UK to only 5 days for those children. This will be deducted from your overall holiday cost (based on a Randox PCR home test at £48pp).
If your flight is cancelled
One of the reasons we were so successful last year is that we do not include flights in our holidays, which gives you maximum flexibility and booking security. If your flight is cancelled and your travel insurance provider will not cover we will be in contact to talk through your options – you will be able to amend your holiday to alternative dates free of charge (you would need to pay the difference if there was an increase in the holiday price). We may ask for proof of flight cancellation prior to amending your holiday dates.
COVID-19 cover is now available – it’s important to have good travel insurance in place, especially in these times, and the policy includes some cover even when FCO advise against travel to that destination. It’s part of our booking conditions that you have adequate travel insurance in place at the time of booking which includes adequate Covid cover.
If you or a member of your party falls ill with C-19
If you’re unable to travel due to contracting Covid-19 at the time of your departure you may be able to change to an alternative date in the 2021 summer season or even summer 2022 (you would need to pay the difference if there was an increase in the holiday price). We’d need confirmation that your travel insurance will not cover you in this instance and evidence, such as an official doctor’s note, of your illness. Our recommended travel insurance policy above does indeed provide cancellation cover if you cannot travel due to Covid illness or the need to self isolate.
We’re a holiday company you can trust

This means you can count on us to ensure all necessary measures are in place to give you the holiday you deserve, allowing you to have 100% confidence in our operating procedures.
Book your 2021 / 2022 holiday happy in the knowledge that your booking is financially secure as all our holidays are protected and insured by International Passenger Protection.
