Land Activities

We know time on the water can wear you out so here are some more land activities for you to enjoy! Of course an ice cold Greek beer or a refreshing glass of wine is one option. Otherwise, we do have some fun activities around the club to keep you and the kids entertained.

Fresh Water pool

Lixouri Bay Beach Club Kefalonia

All our guests are welcome to enjoy our pools at both Paliki and Lixouri Bay Beach Clubs! For younger guests and non-confident swimmers, we would recommend bringing armbands or a pool float.

Paliki has a very large pool with its infamous diving board and stunning views of the Beach Club’s sailing area, looking across to Argostoli and Mount Ainos. Lixouri has a slightly smaller bendy pool that looks out across the secluded sailing area onto the beautiful mountain back drop. Both pools are open daily from 10am-7pm.

Beach Volley

Beach Volley Ball

Anyone can use the volleyball pitch at any time! Just go ask the beach bar for a ball. We organise games when we have little wind or lots of keen volleyball players! It’s a great way to meet your fellow guests. Our instructors are ALWAYS up for a game too!

We only have a pitch at Lixouri Bay Beach Club as the large, wide sandy beach allows for the perfect ground to play on!

Table Tennis

Table tennis

Anyone can play table tennis!! It’s a really great place to hang out and get to know other guests at the beach clubs. We sometimes hold games, so if you are interested in getting involved or organising a competition let us know! It’s always good to challenge an instructor too!

Both Lixouri Bay Beach Club and Paliki Club both have tables. Lixouri has two, one up at the hotel by the pool and the other at the beach bar by the water sports kit! Paliki has one table by the pool and pool bar.

Fitness Holidays Greece

If you’re up for a challenge, there are some incredible routes around Kefalonia. Because of the beaming sun, we recommend early in the morning for longer routes, but little rides can be easily done in the evening and on cooler days. The island is very mountainous and can be a great challenge for thrill seekers, from the National Park of Mount Ainos at 1628m (higher than Ben Nevis), which dominates the island, to the compelling beauty of the wild countryside, fertile valleys and wild varieties of orchids. Remember to take plenty of water and don’t forget to try some local Greek cuisine on your way around. For information click here to see our cycling page.

Anyone with a thirst for adventure and cycling experience! It can get very hot so we recommend early morning or late afternoon. Our local hire partner Rent-A-Bike Kefalonia have e-bikes and kids bikes available too.

Our local hire partner is Rent-a-Bike Kefalonia. They are based in Argostoli, however, they can deliver and collect bikes for one off fee of 40 euros.
