Day Yacht sailing
A trip out on our day sailing yacht is, without doubt, one of our most popular non-inclusive activities for beach club guests. The coastline is stunning and the fair local breeze makes it ideal for those looking for a more relaxed day out on the water.
Our yacht base is only short 5 minute drive from both beach clubs. The yacht marina is tucked inside the amazing sailing area and well-protected Gulf of Argostoli in Kefalonia.
At a leisurely tempo, you can explore fantastic bays and secluded coves, then drop the hook for a picnic lunch afloat in your own private bay.
Our day yacht, a Feeling 306 “Majo Fajo’ is available for all our beach club guests and can be booked pre-holiday or on-site in Greece.
Who’s it for?
Not Qualified (ICC or Day Skipper). Book a day on the water with a yacht skipper who’ll take full control of the boat for a stress-free day out. Dip in and out as you wish or learn as you go. This will give you a chance to sit back, relax and take in the beautiful scenery.
Qualified (ICC or Day Skipper). If you already hold your yacht skipper qualification you can take Majo Fajo out without an instructor and explore. We will give you tips and hints of where to head depending on the daily weather and conditions in Greece.
£250 for up to 5 people
£200 for up to 6 people
Other Useful Information
The yacht is available to board from 10am at Lixouri Marina. We would ask that the yacht be returned to the marina by 5pm, but we do appreciate that changing winds and weather can hinder your travelling time.
From Paliki Beach Club it is a couple of minutes in a taxi or a 10-minute walk to the marina. From Lixouri Bay Beach Club, it is approximately a 5 minute taxi ride.
Lunch is not included in the cost. As no tender is included, you will need to bring lunch aboard with you. There are supermarkets in Lixouri Town should you wish to buy provisions for a beach picnic!
Should you wish to have lunch at a taverna, there are many beachside tavernas around the gulf… You’ll just have to dive overboard and swim to shore… We’ve had some guests do this in the past – We’re not kidding!
